ABOUT TAYTE

Tayte Nickols has already paved his way as a highly sought after record producer for emerging and grassroots artists by the age of 27. From starting his career performing in bands, to learning the ropes of engineering at Catalyst Studios for Sugarhouse (Viola Beach, Larkins, Corella, Pale Waves), Tayte moved into production with a wealth of knowledge. Despite having to overcome strong dyslexia his whole life, Tayte achieved a milestone early on in his producing career when he became the youngest commercial studio owner in the North West. Opening Mad Fox Manchester at 23 (Dana Luna, Lissy Taylor, Jack Critchlow). BBC Radio 1 track of the week and Spotify playlisting followed for tracks recorded at Mad Fox. 2023 was another milestone for Tayte, relocating to London to work with national and international artists through sessions in renowned London studios, being one of the youngest producers to regularly use their facilities.
